Special Note: Private Pilot WSC and Night Training available!

Both examiners are qualified to train and examine in WSC trikes to the Private level and to provide training at night in our night-equipped trikes. We can instruct for, and test applicants for Private Pilot WSC with no night limitations.

Sport Pilot Certificates

There are several Sport Pilot Certificates we can train you for, and provide the final practical tests for.

To be eligible for a Sport Pilot certificate you must:

• Be at least 17 years old (16 for glider or balloon)
• Be able to read, speak, write and understand English

You must also take ground and flight training prepare you to take the following tests:

• Knowledge Test. You must pass a knowledge test on the applicable aeronautical knowledge areas listed for your certificate. You must receive a logbook endorsement before taking this test.
• Practical Test. You must pass a practical test (oral and flight test) on the applicable areas of operation listed for your certificate. Before you take this test you must receive a logbook endorsement from your instructor stating that you meet the applicable aeronautical knowledge and experience requirements and are prepared to take the test.
   

Summary of Aeronautical Experimence (Flight Time) Required for a Sport Pilot Certificate

Sport Pilot AIRPLANE 20 hours of flight time, with at least 15 hours dual instruction and 5 hours solo flight training. (Note: Sport Pilot GLIDER 10 hours of flight time in a glider, with at least 2 hours of solo training Sport Pilot GLIDER add-on If you have logged at least 20 hours of flight time in a heavier-than-air aircraft, you only need 3 hours of flight time in a glider and at least 1 hour of solo flight training in a glider Sport Pilot WEIGHT-SHIFT-CONTROL 20 hours of flight time, with at least 15 hours dual instruction and 5 hours solo flight training
